Over 150 join the inaugural Buderim “Walk for Endo” during Pelvic Pain Awareness Month

On Sunday, May 19th, over 150 Sunshine Coast locals gathered at Buderim Village Park to participate in a 5km historic walk throughout Buderim. This inaugural event, held during Pelvic Pain Awareness Month, aimed to highlight conditions like endometriosis, which affects 1 in 7 women, has an average diagnosis time of 6.5 years, and currently has no cure.

Magnolia Health extends heartfelt thanks to Madam Mayor Rosanna Natoli for opening the event, the Buderim Lions Marshalls & BBQ team, the Buderim Foundation for providing a grant to purchase caps, Local MP Brent Mickelberg, Spill the Beans Coffee, Sunshine Coast band Ruby Thursday, Buderim Pizza Company, and ORA Pilates for donating prizes. We look forward to making next year’s event even bigger and better!
